Waking up at 5 AM voluntarily is not easy, but it is worth it! 6 months ago I started a new workout program. Between work, school, and having a personal life I needed to take charge of my time. I begin the 5:15A.M. workout session with my group and it was indeed a struggle, and still continues to be. After all of this time, I still have to stare at the clock and tell myself that I can do this 25 times before my toe touches the floor. While staring and chanting in my head, there are other things that cross my mind. My 3 Pre-Workout Affirmations
God didn’t wake me up to be a nobody, only a somebody
Waking up is simply a gift within its self. With this small token of appreciation, God is simply giving you permission to continue to live out your passion. Be grateful and give it all you have.
You can’t sleep on your dreams
When you hit the snooze button, you miss out on the opportunity to take your dream one step further. When you are on the path to health and wellness, every workout counts. You never know what opportunities may arise in the rest of your day, so take advantage early and hold yourself accountable to you goals.
Just remember how good you are going to feel when you are done
After you are finally finished with your workout, here is an amazing sense of accomplishment. Take note of this feeling, embrace it, you are going to need it for the next workout.
There is power in a positive mind. Whatever your affirmations may be, use them to your advantage to get you to the next level of success and watch how this transcends to other areas of your life.
